To new beginnings

Finally, I have my own website. I’ve been putting it off until the perfect time, or when I feel that my work is stronger. I’m still not sure that my work is great, but I’m only a sophomore in college and will be steadily improving as I get closer to earning my journalism degree at the University of Kansas. My goal with this site is to display my work. I also want to inspire new work. Comments on my work or recommendations for future projects would be much appreciated and seriously considered. I want to produce work that others find interesting. I want to bring light to the unknown. I want to tell stories that no one has heard before. But what journalist doesn’t want to do that?

Here’s to new beginnings. Here’s to the start of a website and a portfolio. Here’s to the beginning of my journalism career.
